Artist Rewind - deadmau5

Electronic music maestro deadmau5 contributed a handful of beats and loops for the sci-fi and pixel-inspired Galaxanoids, Invaderoids, and Disasteroids levels. Fans enjoyed the combination of melodic tunes and challenging obstacles and they’re worth checking out if you haven’t played these levels yet!

Shortly after the release of Sound Shapes in 2012, deadmau5 dropped a new album, appropriately titled Album Title Goes Here. The album included well-received singles such as “The Veldt” and “Professional Griefers”, and went on to be nominated for Best Dance/Electronica Album at the 2013 Grammy Awards.

His latest album, while(1<2), was released in June 2014 and took a unique approach to releasing singles: a new single came out every week leading up to the release of the album, for a total of four. while(1<2) went on to be nominated as well for Best Dance/Electronic Album at this year’s Grammy Awards.

Outside of the studio, you can catch deadmau5 stateside as one of the headliners of this year’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, coming in June, as well as on the European summer festival circuit.
